How to get $WOC — set up a Solana wallet & buy in

New to crypto? This walks you from zero to holding $WOC, the World of Claudecraft community token on Solana — set up a wallet, fund it, and make the swap. It takes about 10–15 minutes.

⚠️ Not financial advice. Crypto is volatile and risky. This guide explains the mechanics only — never spend more than you can afford to lose, and always do your own research.

What you'll need

  • A phone or computer with a web browser
  • ~10–15 minutes
  • A little money — a debit/credit card, or some crypto you already own

Step 1 — Install a Solana wallet

A wallet is the app that holds your coins. The top pick on Solana is Phantom.

  1. Go to the official site phantom.app (or install "Phantom" from the Apple App Store / Google Play). Only ever download from the official source — there are fake copies.
  2. Create a new wallet. Phantom shows you a 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase.
  3. Write those 12 words down on paper and store them offline. This phrase is your wallet — anyone who has it can take everything.

🔒 Never share your recovery phrase or type it into any website. No admin, mod, "support" agent, or the Claudecraft team will ever ask for it. Anyone who does is scamming you.

Alternative wallet: Solflare works the same way if you prefer it.

Step 2 — Fund your wallet with SOL

You buy $WOC using SOL (Solana's own coin), which also pays the tiny network fees. Two ways to get some:

Option A — Buy SOL right inside Phantom (easiest)

  • Open Phantom, tap Buy (or Deposit → Buy).
  • Pick a provider (MoonPay, Coinbase Pay, etc.), pay with card / Apple Pay / Google Pay.
  • Buy roughly $20–$50 of SOL to start.

Option B — Buy on an exchange and send it over

  • Buy SOL on an exchange like Coinbase, Kraken, or Binance.
  • 🇺🇸 In the US? You can sign up for Coinbase here: Join Coinbase ↗, then buy SOL.
  • In Phantom tap Receive and copy your Solana address.
  • On the exchange, withdraw/send SOL to that address on the Solana network. Double-check the address before sending.

💡 Keep a little SOL spare (about $2–5) for network fees — swaps and transactions cost a fraction of a cent, but you need some SOL to pay them.

Step 3 — Swap SOL → $WOC

  1. Open Jupiter (the main Solana swap site) — or use Phantom's built-in Swap tab.
  2. Connect your wallet and approve the connection. (Connecting to swap lets the site propose trades you approve one by one — it never sees your recovery phrase or moves funds on its own.)
  3. Set From: SOL → To: $WOC. To be certain you have the real token, paste the official $WOC mint address:
3WjLscH2JsXLEFJZRA9z8ti8yRGxWGKbqymPd7UicRth
  1. Enter how much SOL to swap, review the rate and slippage (1–3% is normal for a small token), and Confirm — then approve the transaction in your wallet.

🚀 One-tap buy link (already set to the right token): Buy $WOC on Jupiter ↗

That's it — $WOC now shows up in your wallet.

Make sure it's the real $WOC

  • The mint must be exactly 3WjLscH2JsXLEFJZRA9z8ti8yRGxWGKbqymPd7UicRth. Copy it from this page or the $WOC hub — never from a random DM or link.
  • There are fake tokens using the same name and logo. Always match the mint address.

Stay safe

  • 🔑 Your 12 words = your money. Never share them, never type them into a website, keep them offline.
  • 🔗 Only connect your wallet to sites you trust. A swap connection still needs you to approve every transaction — but a malicious site can trick you into approving a bad one, so slow down and read prompts.
  • 🎭 Ignore anyone who DMs you "support," giveaways, or "double your $WOC" offers. All scams.
  • 📉 Prices move fast. Only buy with money you can afford to lose.
